2026 – 2027 Application for Secondary Two – Four Admission

  

Information on Application: 


  We now accept Secondary Two – Four admission applications for the school year 2026-2027,  please read the following
  application guidelines before completing the application form.   　

  1.       Applicants must complete the online application form, upload the required documents, and finish the payment procedure
            via our online application system before the application deadline. We only accept online applications.
            The application period is as follows:
                    Starting  : 11th May 2026  (Monday)
                    Deadline: 15th June 2026 (Monday)　

  2.       Written Test:

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a written test (Chinese, English and Mathematics) on the morning of
27th June 2026, Saturday.  Please note that no supplementary test will be arranged for applicants who are unable to attend on the scheduled date. Invitations to the written test will be emailed to the parents of the applicants by 1:00 pm on 20th June 2026, Saturday. If parents do not receive notification via our email school@cymcass.edu.hk by this date, it means the applicants have not been selected and no further correspondence will be issued.　

  3.      Admission Interview:

Successful applicants from the written test will be invited for an interview. Parents of these applicants will be informed by phone on or before 8th July 2026, Wednesday. If parents do not receive notification by this date, it means the applicants have not been selected and no further correspondence will be issued.　

  4.      Admitted applicants will be notified by phone on or before 31st July 2026, Friday. If parents do not receive notification
           by this date, the application will be considered unsuccessful. No further correspondence will be issued. 　

  5.      The 2026-2027 annual school fee is HK$18,320 (subject to approval).　

  6.      Scholarship:

The school offers scholarships to students who have demonstrated excellent academic performances, outstanding achievements in art/music/sport, as well as in personal and social performances. Please visit the school website https://www.cymcass.edu.hk/en/scholarships for details.　

  7.   Fee Subsidy Scheme:

The school has put into place a “Fee Subsidy Scheme” for students in need, including those receiving subsidies under the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) from the Social Welfare Department or those receiving grant of the School Textbook Assistance Scheme (STAS) from the Student Finance Office. This measure ensures that students will not be excluded from the school due to their financial situation. Upon admittance, these students may apply for fee subsidy.   8.   Application Procedure and Steps:

Create an account. Then please click “S2-S4 Application Form” to register as a new user.

:

Click “Submit” after completing the user information. You will receive an account activation email. Please click the hyperlink provided in the email to activate your account.

(3)

:

As there is a time limit of 45 minutes for completing the form, applicants are required to prepare the following documents for uploading (each file must use a different filename) before completing the online application form. Please click the “Save Draft” button regularly to ensure that the information is retained before submission.　

(Items a-c, each file in JPG/PNG format with maximum size of 3MB):

  a.   Student’s Hong Kong Identity Card / Passport

  b.   School reports of last two years

  c.   Student’s recent photo　

(Items d-e, the related supporting documents of athletic specialties / artistic specialties should be combined into a separate PDF file with maximum size of 10MB):

  d.   Awards or documentary proof of student’s achievements in Sports in the last two years
         (if applicable)

  e.   Awards or documentary proof of student’s achievements in Arts in the last two years
         (if applicable)

Applicants may start to fill in the online application form.

  a.   Personal particulars of the applicant

  b.   Name of school(s) attended / attending

  c.   Talents and interests (including sports, arts, community services etc.)

  d.   Reasons for choosing our school

  e.   Family information

  f.    Information on siblings who are studying / have studied in Chinese Y.M.C.A.
        Secondary School and parents who are alumni of our school

  g.   Student’s achievements in Sports and /or Arts (if applicable, please fill in item
        VIII and/or IX in the application form so that we can give more consideration in
        the admission selection process.)

Please ensure all information is completed before submitting the application form.  Once the applicant has confirmed the information (by clicking “Submit”), it cannot be changed. If any information is found to be incorrect or missing, the application will not be processed.

:

A non-refundable application fee of HK$75 is required when submitting the online application form. You may choose one of the following payment methods.

  a.    AlipayHK

  b.    Alipay (China) - the platform will charge an additional currency exchange fee

:

Upon completion of the application process, the applicant will be sent a “Confirmation of Online Application” email with the following documents attached for record purposes.

  a.    Completed application form with “Application Number”

  b.    Receipt of the application fee

Remarks

:

If the application process has not been completed before the deadline, the school will not retain the information in the online application form. Then this application will not be processed.
